Prophet Yusuf (AS), described by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as "The Noble, son of the Noble, son of the Noble, son of the Noble: Yusuf son of Yaqub son of Ishaq son of Ibrahim," is the hero of the finest Quranic narrative. Endowed with half of all earthly beauty and prophetic wisdom, he rose from the bottom of an abandoned desert well through unjust slavery and prison to become the Grand Vizier and economic savior of Egypt.

Gifted with the supernatural interpretation of dreams (Ta'wil al-Ahadith), enabling him to foretell and navigate seven years of agricultural abundance followed by seven years of catastrophic famine.
